Yes! GearlandTech is completely free. You can browse threads, ask questions, post replies, use the AI Mechanic, and look up OBD2 codes without paying anything.
You can browse threads and read answers without an account. However, to post questions, reply to threads, vote on answers, or use the AI Mechanic, you need to create a free account.

Yes. Contact us at [email protected] and request account deletion. We'll process your request within 30 days. Your posts may be anonymized rather than deleted to preserve discussion threads.
Posting & Community
Sign in to your account, click "New Thread" or the "+" button, select a relevant category, write a descriptive title and include details about your vehicle and the problem. You can also attach up to 5 photos.
Yes! When creating a thread or posting a reply, you can upload images (JPEG, PNG, GIF, or WebP format, up to 10MB each). This is especially helpful for showing symptoms of car problems.
The AI Mechanic is our intelligent assistant that provides instant diagnostic suggestions based on your vehicle's symptoms. It uses advanced AI to analyze your problem and suggest possible causes and fixes. Note: AI responses are clearly labeled and should be verified with a certified mechanic.
You earn reputation points when your answers receive upvotes from other community members. Higher reputation indicates trusted contributors whose advice has been valued by the community.
Orders & Payment
GearlandTech is primarily a forum and knowledge platform. If we introduce product sales in the future, details will be announced on the site.
Currently, GearlandTech is a free service. If paid features or products are introduced, we will support major credit cards, debit cards, and popular digital payment methods.
